Researchers conducted an observational study between 2017 and 2019.
Did you know walking one-hundred minutes a day could reduce the risk of chronic lower back pain? According to a new study, walking for that amount of time may keep you from being affected by disability later.
Researchers conducted an observational study between 2017 and 2019. More than 11-thousand participants wore sensors for seven days that tracked their walking patterns. The team followed up with the group in 2021 and 2023, then asked if they experienced lower back pain. The results revealed walking reduced the risk for chronic low back pain by 23 percent.
