One Man Arrested In Connection To Fatal Robeson Co. Shooting

, 52-year-old Thomas Walsh was found suffering from a gunshot wound and later died from his injuries.

One man has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting in Robeson County.

Around 7pm on Monday police were called to the 200 block of Pluto Drive in Shannon.

Upon arrival, 52-year-old Thomas Walsh was found suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital where he later died.

35-year-old John Thomas was arrested at the scene and charged with first degree murder. He is being held at the Robeson County Detention Center without bond.

A homicide investigation discovered the shooting occurred during a domestic dispute.
