Former Teacher Accused Of Inappropriate Communication With Minor

31-year-old Matthew Boster was arrested in connection to allegations concerning inappropriate communication with a minor.

A now former Horry County teacher has been arrested and charged following accusations reported by a parent.

31-year-old Matthew Boster was a social studies teacher at Aynor High School. He was arrested in connection to allegations concerning inappropriate communication with a minor.

The information was reported to the Aynor Police Department prompting an investigation. Boster was placed on administrative leave during that time.

Boster has now been detained at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center on charges of criminal solicitation of a minor and second-degree assault and battery. No bail has been set at this time.
