Myrtle Beach Art Museum Announces New Admission Policy
Starting on Saturday, the museum will charge adults $8 for entry and $5 for seniors and veterans.
The Myrtle Beach Art Museum announced several changes to its admission policy.
Currently, art museum exhibitions and events are free of charge. However, over the past few years, the museum has faced issues including inflation and declining levels of funding. To navigate the difficult financial times, attendees must soon pay a fee.
Starting on Saturday, the museum will charge adults $8 for entry and $5 for seniors and veterans. Admission is still free for attendees under the age of 18 as well as for full-time college students with a valid ID.
You can also enjoy free admission by becoming a member, with fees starting at $50 and family memberships at $75.
The museum also announced several new exhibitions that will be displayed through September 21.
