Trump Places Travel Ban And Restrictions For Several Countries

In an announcement, Trump tied the new ban to Sunday's terror attack in Boulder, Colorado.

President Trump announced a travel ban and restrictions on multiple countries.

Citizens of 12 countries will be banned from visiting the U.S. starting on Monday. Citizens from seven other countries will face restrictions.

The complete ban includes Afghanistan, Myanmar, Chad, the Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Eritrea, Haiti, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.

The restrictions will be applied to citizens of Burundi, Cuba, Laos, Sierra Leone, Togo, Turkmenistan and Venezuela.
