Tomatoes Sold Across Three States Recalled

The produce was sold to wholesalers and distributors in Georgia, North and South Carolina.

Williams Farms Repack LLC has issued a recall on tomatoes distributed across several states.

The produce, supplied by H&C Farms, was sold to wholesalers and distributors in Georgia, North and South Carolina between April 23 and 28.

The recall was placed due to the risk that they had been contaminated with salmonella.

The FDA marked the tomato recall as ‘Class I,’ which is the agency’s highest warning level but no illnesses have been reported at this time.

Consumers are advised to refrain from eating them and either throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
