11 Injured In Horry Co. Shooting Following Private Charter Boat Party

Auhtorities believe there was just one shooter but currently no suspect information has been released as an investigation remains active.

A shooting in Horry County left several people injured over the weekend.

The shooting took place in Little River around 9:30pm Sunday night following a private charter boat party.

A disturbance reportedly occurred on the boat but shots were not fired until the boat returned to the dock. Police responded to the Dolphin Cruise parking lot on Watson Avenue.

Auhtorities believe there was just one shooter but currently no suspect information has been released as an investigation remains active.

The incident was an isolated shooting. 120 people were aboard the boat. 11 victims were shot and three of them remain hospitalized as of Tuesday morning.

The majority of those involved were from out of town, but some locals were also aboard the craft.
