Two People Arrested After Shooting Leaves Victim In Critical Condition

Two people have been arrested in connection to an incident that left one victim in critical condition.

Shortly before 5pm on Wednesday, police responded to the 700 block of Rice Road.

Upon arrival, a man was found suffering multiple gunshot wounds and is in critical condition.

An investigation led to the arrest of a 15-year-old suspect who was detained after a foot chase in Fairmont later that night.

They face charges of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, inflicting serious injury and felony conspiracy.

18-year-old John Bristow surrendered himself to investigators Thursday night. He was charged with the same charges as well as contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Both suspects are being held without bond. Anyone with information about the incident is urged to contact Robeson County authorities.
