Two-Vehicle Crash Results In Florence Co. Deputy Death
A GMC SUV was heading south on 301 while a Ford SUV was traveling north when they collided.
A Florence County deputy is dead following a crash that occurred Tuesday afternoon.
The accident unfolded in the area of 301 Deer Processing on Olanta Highway between Meadow Prong and Langston Roads.
A GMC SUV was heading south on 301 while a Ford SUV was traveling north when they collided.
The driver of the Ford was identified as Nate Ansay, a deputy of the Florence County Sheriff’s Office. He was taken to a hospital where he later died.
The driver of the GMC was also taken to a hospital to be treated. Their current condition is unknown.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
