Three Arrest Made In Investigation Into Officer Involved Shooting Incident

A juvenile was arrested at one of them where various items were collected.

Three people have been arrested in relation to the officer-involved shooting in Myrtle Beach.

On April 26, 18-year-old Jerrius Davis opened fire into a crowd in the 900 block of N. Ocean Boulevard. He was shot and killed by a police officer during the commotion.

Those who were taken into custody were not directly linked to the shooting, but are independent cases and part of the broader investigation into the events leading up to shots fired.

Warrants were conducted on two homes in the Clio area of Marlboro County. A juvenile was arrested at one of them where various items were collected.

A search warrant was also served in Laurinburg where one person was arrested and firearms and additional evidence were also recovered.

A third person was taken into custody after a warrant was served in High Point, North Carolina.

The arrests come after weeks of investigation into the events surrounding the incident.
