Researchers looked at the diets of more than 5,000 and found that foods rich in flavan-3-ol compounds, like tea, dark chocolate, apples, and grapes drastically lower blood pressure. The improvements were seen even more in those with high blood pressure…where as those with normal blood pressure saw little changes. These foods also increased blood vessel function.
