Man Charged In Hit And Run That Left Motorcyclists Injured

One man has been arrested in connection to a hit and run in Myrtle Beach.
Shortly after 5pm on Saturday, police responded to the area of S. Kings Highway on reports of a crash.
Several witnesses reported that a vehicle was traveling south on the highway when it attempted to make an unlawful u-turn from the middle lane.
It cut off a motorcycle with two passengers. Both of them were taken to a hospital with life threatening injuries.
The driver has been identified as 19-year-old Mason Romeo and he is now facing charges.
Romeo reportedly said “he was driving and got scared from what he saw behind him.” Further details remain limited.
