Scottie Scheffler Wins PGA Championship Securing Third Major

Scottie Scheffler captured his third career major after winning the PGA Championship Sunday.

The golfer gained the Wanamaker trophy as the world’s No. 1 golfer at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Scheffler posted an even-par 71 in the final round of the 107th PGA Championship for a five-stroke victory over Harris English, Bryson DeChambeau, and Davis Riley.

“It was a long week. I felt like this was as hard as I battled for a tournament in my career. This was a pretty challenging week,” Scheffler said.

The 28-year-old took home $3.4 million for the win.
