Apple Users May Be Eligible To Claim Part Of $95 Million Settlement

The deadline is set for July 2 and payments for each device are capped at $20. You can claim up to five devices.

If you were or are currently an Apple customer you may be eligible to claim your share of a settlement from a class-action lawsuit.

The lawsuit was filed in 2021 by Apple users who alleged their private conversations were being recorded by their Apple devices after unintentionally activating Siri.

Their devices were allegedly recording without their consent. The information was sent to advertisers who used it to target them with online ads.

Apple denies all of the allegations and claims it did not do anything improper or unlawful. However, both sides of the argument agreed to a $95 million settlement.

Anyone who has owned or purchased a Siri-enabled device between September of 2014 and December of last year is eligible to file a claim.

The deadline is set for July 2 and payments for each device are capped at $20. You can claim up to five devices.
