Woman Charged After Young Children Found Unattended

Officers said it was a "considerable amount of time" until the parent of the children returned home.

Oone woman was arrested after three children were found unattended.

Shortly before 8pm on Saturday, police responded to Woodchuck Drive in Darlington County.

Neighbors reportedly found a 2-year-old child wandering outside alone. Deputies then discovered a 3-year-old and a 6-year-old left in the home without an adult present.

Each of the children were found safe and secure.

Officers said it was a “considerable amount of time” until the parent of the children returned home.

The Department of Social Services was notified and responded to the scene.

Tremunicha Rush is now facing pending charges in relation to the incident.
