The recall covers vehicles with model years 2021 through 2025.
All of the recalled cars have rear-view camera malfunctions that could impact driver visibility. It could go black when affected vehicles are put in reverse.
There have been no reported accidents or injuries related to the issue. But, owners can take their vehicles to a volvo dealer for a software update.
The update can also be done via an over-the-air update, or a remote, digital download.
