Attorney General Announces “Largest Fentanyl Bust In Nation’s History”
16 people were arrested including multiple people tied to the Mexican Sinaloa Cartel as well as it's ring leader.
Attorney General Pam Bondi announced the “largest fentanyl bust in our nation’s history.”
It was conducted through a coordinated take-down across five states including New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Nevada and Oregon.
The multi-agency investigation began with undercover operations and surveillance six months ago.
11.5 kilos of fentanyl, including around 3 million fentanyl-laced pills labeled as oxycodone were recovered. 35 kilos of meth, 7.5 kilos of cocaine, 4.5 of heroin, and 49 rifles and pistols were also recovered during the operation.

“We’re very proud to announce today a historic Sinaloa Cartel arrest and it marks the most significant victory in our nation’s fight against fentanyl and drug trafficking to date,” Bondi said.
