Dr. Kim Carter-Tillman Named 2025 Remarkable Woman Of The Year

Dr. Kim Carter-Tillman, founder of the Time for Change Foundation, earned the award for her transformative work.

Nexstar has announced this year’s Remarkable Woman of the Year.

Dr. Kim Carter-Tillman, founder of the Time for Change Foundation, earned the award for her transformative work. She’s a survivor of homelessness, incarceration, and addiction.

Carter-Tillman established the foundation in 2002 to help homeless individuals regain self-sufficiency. It offers emergency shelter and supportive services.

After gaining the award, Carter-Tillman said she plans to further her mission of empowering individuals and transforming lives in her community. She will receive a $25,000 check for being named the national winner.

Four other finalists were named and will receive $5,000 donations to their charities of choice. They include Brenda Robinson of North Carolina, Holly Schwab also of North Carolina, Inez Russell of Texas and Sandy Burgener of Illinois.
