Autism Awareness Month Activities Along The Grand Strand
Ripley's Aquarium will hold a Sensory Friendly Visit from 9-11am in which the lights are up and music and sound effects are down.
April is Autism Awareness Month and one organization has several upcoming events to celebrate.
The Champion Autism Network is hosting a puzzle piece awareness and fundraising campaign. The non-profit hopes to reach the goal of $15,000 to assist in serving thousands of people living with autism.
On Saturday, Ripley’s Aquarium will hold a Sensory Friendly Visit from 9-11am in which the lights are up and music and sound effects are down.
On April 27, Big Air in Myrtle Beach is hosting a Sensory Friendly Jump from 9-10am.
On May 4, Myrtle Beach Bowl will host a Sensory Friendly Family Bowling Bash. From 11am-1pm, music will be down and lights will be up costing $1 per game per person.
On May 13, the Autism Network is hosting the Night of Champions Chef Challenge at ‘The Hall at St. John’s’ in Myrtle Beach from 6-9pm.
