West Florence High Administrator Named Nation’s Top Assistant Principal

Saani Perry founded a male mentoring program and helped expand STEM programming.

A West Florence High School administrator has been named America’s Top Assistant Principal.

Saani Perry has been at the school since 2021. He founded a male mentoring program and helped expand STEM programming.

In December, Perry was selected as South Carolina’s Top Assistant Principal.

He took home the Nation’s top honor at the National Educational Leadership Awards in Washington D.C. on Friday.

West Florence High took to social media to say Perry is “a transformative leader whose presence has changed lives.”
