House Fire Claims The Lives Of Two People

54-year-old Jennifer Mishoe called 911 screaming "help me" multiple times before the line went silent.

Two people died following a residential fire in Horry County.

Around 9pm on Monday, fire rescue crews responded to the flames at a home in the area of Armview Road.

54-year-old Jennifer Mishoe called 911 screaming “help me” multiple times before the line went silent. Upon arrival, officers found her at the bottom of the front steps of the home.

They moved Mishoe a safe distance before attempting life saving measures until EMS arrived. She was transported to a hospital where she died shortly after arriving.

A man, who is believed to have also lived in the home, died in the fire. His identity was not publicly revealed.

Autopsies will be performed to determine causes of death and the fire is under investigation.
