How Much We’re Spending on Easter This Year

Discount stores are once again poised to be the top destination for Easter shopping.

They may not be putting dyed eggs into their baskets this year…but shoppers are expected to spend more on Easter decor and treats.

A “hopping” $23.6 billion dollars is what consumers are expected to shell out. Discount stores are once again poised to be the top destination for Easter shopping. The National Retail Federation says consumers are expected to spend a total of $7.4 billion on food, $3.8 billion on gifts and $3.3 billion on candy.
