Critical Injuries Reported Following Horry Co. Crash

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.

A crash involving a pedestrian occurred in horry county early Thursday morning.

Around 6am, Horry County Fire Rescue reported to Highway 501 between West Perry Road and Legends Road in response to the accident.

As crews worked the scene, all lanes were blocked off for some time.

Critical injuries were reported but further details were not immediately available.
