Annual Palmetto Police Motorcycle Skills Competition

Around 85 registered participants will go through three courses that are meant to mimic everyday obstacles.

The annual ‘Palmetto Police Motorcycle Skills Competition’ is returning to the Grand Strand this weekend.

The training event welcomes motorcyclists who are affiliated with public safety agencies from around the country. Retired or non-certified competitors are also participating.

The officers show off their best skills on two wheels, while raising money for ‘Camp Happy Days’, which supports children with cancer.

Around 85 registered participants will go through three courses that are meant to mimic everyday obstacles that traffic officers face when patrolling the roadways.

Competition days are Friday and Saturday from 8am-5pm.

The event will be held at the Myrtle Beach Mall on N. Kings Highway, in the Bass Pro Shop overflowing parking lot. Parking and admission is free to the public.
