Verbal Altercation Between Roommates Left One Man Fatally Shot

45-year-old Charles Jones was shot by his roommate after a verbal altercation broke out.

An argument led to a shooting that resulted in the death of one man.

The shooting took place around 6:45pm on Saturday in the Green Sea area of Horry County.

45-year-old Charles Jones was shot by his roommate after a verbal altercation broke out at their residence on Bay View Drive.

Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Horry County Police Department is investigating the incident but an arrest has not been made at this time.
