Things to Look Forward to in April

It's always a good month for sports! Plus, holidays and plenty of moie releases.

We’re a quarter of the way through 2025! Here are a few things to look forward to in April.

It’s always a good month for sports: March madness continues with the Final Four this weekend. Then the women’s National Championship game is Sunday, and the men’s final is Monday. Also, the MLB season is in full swing…the Masters starts April 10th…the NBA and NHL playoffs both start the 19th and the NFL draft is April 24th.

Some movie releases to expect this month are the Mickey Mouse thriller “Screamboat” which opens tomorrow, “A Minecraft Movie” opens Friday, Michael B. Jordan stars in “Sinners” April 18th and “The Accountant 2” with Ben Affleck opens April 25th.

Of course the holidays…Passover starts the 12th. Good Friday is the 18th and Easter is April 20th. There are also some other notables this month as well like National twinkie day, beer day and pet day!
