Police Need Help Identifying Three People In Connection To A Shooting
Around 6pm Sunday, officers responded to the Sami Mart and More in the 400 block of East Vance Street.
Laurinburg police are asking the public for help after a fatal shooting unfolded Sunday.
Around 6pm, officers responded to the Sami Mart and More in the 400 block of East Vance Street.
Upon arrival, a victim was found inside the store while another was located inside a Ford Edge parked outside.
The Ford fled the scene before officers pulled it over. Five people were inside the car, including one with a gunshot wound. He was identified as 18-year-old Adomous Henry who was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
19-year-old Nicholas McCall was the victim in the store. He was also taken to a hospital and is in critical condition.
Investigators learned that McCall was inside the store when Henry entered with three other men. Henry approached McCall while pointing a firearm in what appeared to be an attempted robbery.
Henry begin shooting and McCall also pulled a gun. The two shot each other.
Police are now asking for help in identifying three people believed to be involved. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Laurinburg Police Department.
