Suspect Charged With Murder After Shooting Victim Dies Months Later
20-year-old Isaiah Conner was injured after being shot twice in the 300 block of Freemont Road in Longs.
A suspect has been charged in connection to a fatal January shooting.
On January 23, 20-year-old Isaiah Conner was injured after being shot twice in the 300 block of Freemont Road in Longs. He was transported to a hospital to be treated.
On February 28, Jabari Coffee was arrested after a traffic stop where he was found in possession of around five grams of meth. He was charged with armed robbery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, unlawful possession or sale of a firearm, and drug crimes.
On March 20, Conner died from the injuries he sustained during the shooting. Coffee now faces an additional charge of murder. He is being held at the J. Reuben Long Detention Center without bond.
