Special Banners To Honor Veterans And Active-Duty Military Members

All of the banners will be hung along Ocean Boulevard and Harrelson Boulevard from May-August.

The city of Myrtle Beach is honoring Veterans and active-duty military members this summer.

The Military Appreciation Committee is working with the city for a new initiative to honor those former and current members with special banners.

Applications are still open for you to submit the person you’d like to honor.

The 30×60-inch banner will feature a high resolution photo, their rank, branch and years of service.

All of them will be hung along Ocean Boulevard and Harrelson Boulevard from May-August.

They banners cost $100 each. After they are removed, the families will get to keep them by picking them up from City Hall.
