Butch Wilmore And Suni Williams To Finally Return To Earth

They were only supposed to stay about a week but the spacecraft experienced issues that left the duo stranded.

Astronauts Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams are finally coming home!

The pair have been stuck on the International Space Station for more than nine months after taking off back in June on Boeing’s Starlink’s first crew tested flight.

They were only supposed to stay about a week but the spacecraft experienced issues that left the duo stranded.

Many attempts to get them home have been delayed or cancelled due to problems.

On Sunday, a SpaceX crew Dragon Craft arrived at the ISS and will transport Wilmore and Williams back to Earth along with another American astronaut and a Russian cosmonaut.

They are scheduled to splashdown off the Florida coast around 6pm Tuesday.
