Groundbreaking Held For $4 Million Complex In Downtown Florence

The development was approved after developers received a $500,000 grant from the city to develop on site.

A ground-breaking ceremony was held Thursday for a $4 million complex coming to the downtown Florence area.

The development was approved after developers received a $500,000 grant from the city to develop on site.

Once completed, the project will have a 26,000-square-foot complex with 18 townhomes on the top two floors and six spaces for commercial development.

Developers say the luxury townhomes should be move-in ready by the spring of 2026.
