One-Year-Old Dies Following Darlington County Crash

A Ford F-350 pickup was heading north while a Chevy Impala was traveling south when the two collided.

A two-vehicle crash in Darlington County resulted in the death of one person and left another injured.

The accident occurred around 12:15pm Wednesday on Oates Highway near E7 Pines Street.

A Ford F-350 pickup was heading north while a Chevy Impala was traveling south when the two collided.

The driver and a passenger of the Impala were both transported to a hospital where the one-year-old passenger died from injuries he sustained. The father of the child was the driver, his current condition is unknown. They were the only occupants of the vehicle.

The driver and passenger in the pick-up were not hurt.
