“Large” Fire In Wooded Florence Area Is Now Cleared
The blaze was described as fast moving but was put under control around 45 minutes later.
Florence firefighters battled a large woods fire Monday afternoon.
The flames broke out around 4pm in a wooded area on Jennie O’Bryan Boulevard near N. Cashua Drive.
The blaze was described as fast moving but was put under control around 45 minutes later.
The scene has since been cleared.
West Florence Fire Rescue assisted Florence Fire Department crews to put out the fire.
The cause was not immediately available.
