Three Arrested In Connection To An Armed Robbery

The suspects were identified as 47-year-old Jonathan Ward, 51-year-old Tara Lance and 18-year-old Quame Singleton.

Three people were arrested following an armed robbery in Georgetown County.

The robbery occurred at a motel which led to a police pursuit after the suspects failed to stop.

The chase traveled outside city limits and ended when deputies deployed stop sticks on Gapway Road near Garrison Road. The suspected vehicle rolled over.

Two men fled but one woman was taken into custody at the scene. One was quickly detained with help of a K9. The second was believed to be hiding in the woods and was captured a few hours later.

The suspects were identified as 47-year-old Jonathan Ward, 51-year-old Tara Lance and 18-year-old Quame Singleton.

They are being held at the Georgetown County Detention Center with pending charges.

An investigation is underway and anyone with information is asked to contact Georgetown County authorities.
