Three People Died/Several Injured In Horry Co. Crash

All three occupants of the Kia died. The names of the victims have not been publicly released.

A crash in Horry County left several dead and others injured.

Around 8:45pm yesterday, Murrells Inlet-Garden City Fire crews responded to the accident along Highway 17 Bypass at Wood Thrush Drive.

A Ford Crown Victoria was traveling north when it hit the side of a Kia that was attempting to cross Highway 17 from a private drive.

All three occupants of the Kia died.

All four of the people inside the Ford were transported to a hospital with injuries.

The names of the victims have not been publicly released.

An investigation is underway.
