Ford Recalls More Than 240,000 SUVs

Seat belts with improperly secured anchor bolts may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash.

Ford is recalling more than 240,000 SUVs.

The affected vehicles includes 2020 to 2021 Ford Explorer and Lincoln Aviator vehicles.

The vehicles may have an improperly secured seat belt retractor anchor bolt and-or seat belt anchor bolt at the second-row center seating position.

Seat belts with improperly secured anchor bolts may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash. That could increase the risk of injury.

The company is not aware of any reports of accident or injury related the the problem.

Owners can take their vehicle to a dealer to be inspected. Affected seat components will be replaced if needed.
