The soccer star’s impressive earnings came from $215 million in salary and winnings for Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia and the Portugal National Team, and $45 million through off-the-field endorsements. That totals his earnings to $260 million.

Ronaldo brought in over $100 million more than the second placed athlete. The NBA’s superstar Steph Curry earned around $153.8 million.

Rounding out the top five are Boxer Tyson Fury, Lionel Messi and LeBron James.
