Trump Says Putin Is Ready To Start Negotiations Regarding War

Trump said they both want to stop the millions of deaths taking place in the war between the two countries.

President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin engaged in a phone call Wednesday.

The two agreed to “start negotiations immediately” about the war in Ukraine.

Trump said they both want to stop the millions of deaths taking place in the war between the two countries.

“President Putin even used my very strong campaign motto of, ‘common sense.’ we both believe very strongly in it. We agreed to work together, very closely, including visiting each other’s nations,” Trump said.

Trump referred to the call as “lengthy and highly productive.”

The news comes after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy previously said he is also ready to start negotiating with Russia with hopes to end the three year war.
