Teen Arrested Following Police Pursuit In Florence Co.

An arrest was made after a police pursuit unfolded in Florence County.

Wednesday evening, an officer attempted to stop a vehicle on Candy Lane in South Florence.

The driver failed to comply and kept driving.

The officer then pursued the vehicle in a chase that ended with the suspect crashing into a utility pole.

The 15-year-old driver then fled the scene on foot into a neighboring mobile home park where deputies captured him and took him into custody.

It was later discovered that the car the teen was driving had been reported stolen.

No injuries were reported from this incident, but the teen now faces charges.
