Conway Medical Center To Add Emergency Department At Socastee Location
The new 12,150 square-foot addition is expected to make the center the region's first fully integrated medical plaza.
Conway Medical Center revealed plans for a major expansion.
The facility is adding an emergency department at its Health Plaza South Campus in Socastee.
The new 12,150 square-foot addition is expected to make the center the region’s first fully integrated medical plaza.
It will “combine emergency services with existing ambulatory surgery, outpatient clinics, and comprehensive imaging services to meet the growing healthcare needs of southern Horry County.”
The facility will be open 24-hours a day, seven days a week. It will have an eight-bed emergency department designed to handle over 10,000 annual patient visits.
It is unclear when construction will begin.
