However, under a new order signed by President Trump, TikTok has now been given an additional 75 days of operation in the U.S..
Trump instructed his attorney general to refrain from enforcing the ban for now. The move will give Trump’s team time to “determine the appropriate course forward in an orderly way that protects national security while avoiding an abrupt shutdown of a communications platform used by millions of Americans.”
