Myrtle Beach Classic Tournament Could Be Getting A Name Change

The Myrtle Beach Classic Tournament could be getting a name change.

The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting discussions with ‘ONEflight‘ to be the co-title sponsor of the event alongside ‘Visit Myrtle Beach.’

If an agreement is reached, this year’s tournament will be called the ‘ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic.’

“Partnering with this private air service would further enhance the prestige of the event and the Grand Strand as a whole, underscoring Myrtle Beach as the “The Golf Capital of the World” and the exceptional attributes of our community,” Visit Myrtle Beach CEO Tracy Conner said.

A formal agreement is being finalized at this time and an official announcement is expected by the end of January.
