Outside Fire Behind North Myrtle Beach Walmart Injured One Person
The flames broke out on a large stack of compacted cardboard and extended to nearby brush and woods.
A fire broke out behind a North Myrtle Beach Walmart leaving one person injured.
Around 6am firefighters were called to the Walmart located in the Gator Hole Plaza.
A victim was taken to a local hospital after being treated on the scene for burns. He was later loaded onto a helicopter and transported to a burn center in Augusta for further treatment.
The victim’s current condition is unknown.

No buildings were threatened by the flames. The cause of the fire is now under investigation.
