Market Common Cancels Drone Show Ahead Of NYE Celebration

To get your ticket, you need an original receipt from any of the shopping center's businesses.

The Market Common had to cancel it’s planned drone show for it’s Southern Times Square New Year’s Eve celebration.

The cancellation comes after “unforseen safety restrictions.” Organizers apologized for any inconvenience this may cause.

However, the remainder of the traditional celebration will continue as planned.

The night will feature a jumbotron, a mirror-ball drop at midnight, live music and entertainment as well as children’s activities, food and drink vendors and a special guest appearance.

Festivities will kick off at 9pm Tuesday.

Tickets are required for everyone except child younger than 2-years-old.

To get your ticket, you need an original receipt from any of the shopping center’s businesses. It must prove a purchase of $25 or more in a single visit until Tuesday.

One ticket will be distributed per receipt.

You can get your ticket until 7pm Monday or between 10am and 9pm Tuesday at The Market Common Management Office along Deville Street.
