FDA Issues Recall On Popular Dog Treats

The FDA has issued a class-one recall on Carolina Prime Pet Inc. popular dog treats.

The Class I recall is the agency’s most serious risk level. The agency indicates the use of or exposure to the product could result in serious health consequences or death.

The company recalled 400 bags of the ‘Hollywood Feed Carolina Made Chicken Chips’ dog treats due to potential salmonella contamination.

The treats were distributed to retailers across 19 states including North and South Carolina.

Consumers are urged to stop use immediately and return the products to the place of purchase for a full refund.
