West Florence Head Football Coach Announces Resignation
The Knights finished this season with an 8 and 4 record placing third in region 5-5A.
The head football coach of West Florence High School has announced his resignation.
Monday Jody Jenerette revealed he will not return to lead the team next season.
The coach took to social media to share his family has enjoyed the last seven years leading the Knights’ program, but the one-hour drive has taken its toll.
Jenerette went on to express his gratitude for all the support and said the job was special.
The Knights finished this season with an 8 and 4 record placing third in region 5-5A.
The high school will now begin looking for a head coach to replace Jenerette.
