One man was shot during an incident in Dillon.

The victim said around 8am Monday, he went to retrieve his belongings from an individual along 6th Street.

The man said he assumed when he went to get the items back, there would be a civil conversation, but it ended with him being shot.

The victim was taken to a hospital to be treated for injuries. His condition is unknown at this time.
