A “fast track recall” has been placed on around 45,000 holiday devices sold nationwide.
The recall covers Mr. Christmas wireless decorative tree light controllers.
The controller contains two parts including a lever that can be pulled to turn the holiday lights on or off and a separate white receiver that plugs into an outlet.
The wireless receiver that plugs into an outlet can overheat posing the risk of fire.
