Man And Woman Charged In Florence County Weapons Incident

Though the suspect pointed the gun at the victim and pulled the trigger, the gun did not discharge.

A man and woman are facing charges after an incident unfolded in Florence County.

On November 1, 24-year-old Kallie Lovin allegedly pointed a handgun and pulled the trigger after 21-year-old Christopher Lovin accused the victim of attacking him after a verbal argument.

Though Kallie pointed the gun at the victim and pulled the trigger, the gun did not discharge.

No injuries were reported.

However, Kallie has been charged with attempted murder, pointing-presenting a firearm and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Christopher was charged with third-degree assault and battery.

Both were booked into the Florence County Detention Center on Tuesday.

Christopher is being held on a $1,000 bond, while Kallie’s bond has not been set.
