HCS Reveals Trio Of Finalists For Superintendent Position

The public can meet with each candidate from 4-7pm at Ocean Bay Middle School in Myrtle Beach.

Horry County Schools announces a trio of finalists for the superintendent job.

Jonathan Crossley has been superintendent at a school in Arkansas since 2021. His 14-year education career began as a high school English teacher in Arkansas.

Clifford Jones spent his 23-year education career working in Fulton County schools in Georgia.

Michael Thorsland’s 31-year career started in 1993 in Pickens County.

The trio is touring facilities Tuesday.

The public can meet with each candidate from 4-7pm at Ocean Bay Middle School in Myrtle Beach during a meet-and-greet event.

A second round of interviews will take place Wednesday.
